Today, while loading up my kids into the van after a rump on the playground, I overheard the guy next to me refer to his younger days, in terms of how he is wiser now. This guy couldn’t have been older than 22 or 23. I REMEMBER feeling wise at that age, compared to my teenage self. I caught myself snickering, because its just began. When he is 30 he will look back at his 20s as a learning experience, and it will keep on from there. Don’t we all have that epiphany at some point, that fact that we always have more to learn? Nothing new under the sun, sure, but we haven’t seen all that God has laid out for us.
